Where I Stand

Location

This is where I stand and who I think I am.  I like drinking lemon water; playing volleyball; attending church; going out to eat; chewing gum; drawing landscapes; taking pictures; attending football games; listening to music; playing foosball; watching baseball; and talking to friends.

I hate doing laundry; writing notes; washing my car; locking the door; putting the top on my car; cleaning my room; putting on make up; and making my bed.

I dream of traveling the world; learning to play piano; climbing the Eiffel Tower; meeting Johnny Depp; speaking fluent Spanish; conquering my fears; writing a book; singing karaoke in Mexico; visiting Alaska for a while; and driving a racecar around the track.

I suggest people love more than hate; listen more than talk; accept more than judge; speak the truth more than lie; laugh more than cry; and take risks more than play it safe.

I prefer dogs over cats; water over soda; baseball over softball; Independence Day over Valentines Day; Tumblr over Twitter; New York over Chicago; trucks over cars; July over January; Super Bowl over Olympics; road trips over plane rides; and my guy friends over my girl friends.

I secretly love driving around at night; singing in the shower; writing letters; staying up late; playing video games; hiking Mount Eagle; learning in museums; shopping for school supplies; reading books; and playing the Sims.

One day I hope to graduate college; become a doctor; get married; raise a family; own a Bull Mastiff; hire a detective; pour my heart out to someone; visit my grandfathers’ grave; and go to Brazil on a mission trip.

I’m scared of failing; getting trapped in a closed spaces; living on my own; repeating a grade; having responsibilities; choking on a quarter; drowning in a open body of water; becoming food for a shark; and getting in a bad car accident.

I wish my room was teal; my feet were smaller; my tires were bigger; my hair was curlier; my thighs were slimmer; my room was wider; my parents were younger; my niece was older; my teeth were whiter; and my classes were easier.

In conclusion, I just wanted you to realize some things about me that you wouldn’t have known and I wanted to show you me. I believe strongly that words paint pictures and I hope you pictured one of me. I would like to thank you.
