Whisper in the Breeze

Location

Gillette, Wyoming
United States

Curl up under your blanket

Let the tears fall

Cry yourself to sleep tonight

With little hope that things will be alright.

You dream of your future

It's your last escape

You try to be strong

But you break because everything is wrong.

You're the wind

Whispering through the trees,

To them you're nothing but a breeze.

It gets too tough,

And you push people away

Eventually there is no one who stays.
