The White Chair Executioner

A Dark Room

A Single Chair

Just sitting there

Alone...

Someone sits...

Someone goes...

Again the chair is alone...

'Tis a very soft chair

All covered in white

'Tis also a chair

That only a select few may sit in

For you see

In this dark room

Where this lone chair resides

The Person who sits there

Ulitmately dies

This lonely white chair

Is a cruel soft chair

Killing those who choose to sit there

In this dark room

Where this single chair stands

The guilty

Come to die...

Electric shocks

Sent through their veins

Shutting them down

Their painful screams echo around

Then all is quiet...

Not a sound...

The chair is alone again...

What you don't understand

Is this chair

All alone

Never wanted this life

Just a family

A home

Of it's very own

This poor soft white chair

In this dark, murderous room

Must suffer a fate

Always killing the doomed

Poor sad soft chair

I am sorry to say

You are doomed to the life

Of killing each and every day

You kill the Killers

You kill the Rapists

You kill the Gilty Ones

Yet no one hears your soft plea

Poor soft white chair

Electricuting Executioner

Who will be the next one you murder???

Hey guys,

A little bit about this poem that wasn't metioned in the tags. This poem was created after hearing all the fuss and news about people being sentenced to electric chairs over our world's history. It provides rhyme, personification, and imagery in one poem. Enjoy reading the poem. I apologize I couldn't add my own reading of it, however, there's enough there that should provide a tone of how it was meant to be read.

Enjoy.

A bit about me. I'm 21 years old. I've been writing poems since I was 16. Poetry is my escape and I love finding new topics to write about. The best poems are ones you feel confident about. These poems stick with you always and show a little bit about you. Your poems will become a part of you. Haha. Enough about me. I hope you like what you read. I provided an image of what the chair described looks like, somewhat.
