White Rarity

Pure white rose uncommon

In a vicinity of numerous flowers

Bright roses with their scarlet petals

And salient briers

The bloom of snow only had thorns so soft

And was not accustomed to wound

One main rose above all the rest

Was the most tremendous and bright

Of all affectionate crimson

The modest white was such a rare sight

In a garden meant for red
