The me I know

Speaks up for my beloved

Standing up for what’s in the wrong

Showering my friends with love and joy

And

Not even hesitating to protect my prized.

She

Gives everything her all

Works hard when a solution is needed

Doesn’t back down when an obstacle portrays

And

Sticks out until the very, very end.

How others see me is when

I’m

At my lowest

Weak in the knees

Indecisive on silly things

And

The last example to portray love.

They think

She

Falls short of her goals

Hardly sweats a drop

Backs out at the last minute

And

Gives up before the challenge has even begun.

Yet

The me I know

And

The me people think

Battle against one another

To justify who I really am.

But

Only those closest to me

And

Me myself

Know truly of who I am.
