Who Am I

I am strong,

I am man,

I do not cry I do not fall,

I am your stable foundation,

I hereby only lift you-needing no help.

Yet the walls seem dense, but it falls.

I am weak,

I am child,

I only cry I never stand for myself,

I am the cracks in the wall,

I am chained to the ground.

I ask not why-yet,

Why can’t you see this?

Why do you come for my help?

Why mustn't I receive help?

I block you out,

I fear your eyes,

Warm, soft, seeing a weak child,

Yet all I need is your love,

Your arms,

My protection,

I am fearful.

I am worry.

This poem was the reaction I had from the statement told to me "Men don't cry we hold it in we must be strong" and then meeting so many loving people who understand and care of my well being.
