Who Am I?

Who am I?
I fill you with happiness and content.
I can make you smile, laugh, and pray.
I can make you forgive and forget, fall apart and cry.
I will pull you together or rip you to shreds.
I make you feel the best or the worst.
Put me to work I am rather helpful.
Do nothing you become numb.
I make you feel like nothing else matters.
Be careful I may overpower you.
Control me while you’re still strong.
When we get close, I grow more powerful.
I bring holy strength or terrible sorrow.
One thing to do is never give up on me.
No matter what I’ll be everything you have left.
I’ll have your back, if you have mine.
Have faith in me, since I’ve always had faith in you.
What you feel may be weird at first but don’t worry about it. Let me do my job.
Use me often or I turn ugly.
I’m not difficult, only if you make me.
Who am I?
