Who I Am

Location

I'm the cheerleading everyone hears yelling her heart out at every game.

The girl who helped send the softball team to state.

I'm the girl that's always smiling or laughing.

But at night I'm someone completely different.

Talk to me at 3 am and then you'll know the real me.

I don't tell people the real me because I'm scared,

Scared of rejection.

Of looking like a fool.

I'm the girl who hides behind the stacks of book at the library,

looking at the cute boy from afar.

The girl who hides behind her camera lens,

with only one piercing blue eye visible to the world.

I want to show the world my passions, my hobbies.

To stop hiding behind who everyone thinks I should be...

To show the real me.
