Who I Am

Location

Who I Am

A shouted whisper

The plain painted face

Well known secret

hiding in plain sight.

The great sea all around us

thronging with the amazing.

Endless.

Gulls scream! their demands

for all to hear.

Whales sing of life

dolphins ...click... away.

Who will listen?

Lost in the vastness of    s    p    a    c    e

and of the crowd

A single flower

does not compete

to prove the glory of its petals.

So much unheard

unseen

Lost

only in the veil that is

our own eyes

seeing the idea that is this world?

The obscure clarity of existence

reveals such truth of

people

Who would dare

come forth?

Will such a bright light

erase

the great phantasms

and the vagary of it

the cosmos?

I know who I am

but

Who are You?

so perfectly content

    -reticently-

I wait

the most beautiful shadow
