Who I Am

I am not sorry that I'm not a 36-24-36
But I do have a body size that leaves me with confidence

I love my rich dark brown skin
And my dark brown eyes that shines from within

My curves are not the deepest but their still me
I take it embrace it and love it because their apart of me

I thank my family for telling me that I am pretty
And not to let my looks stop me from being witty

I've endured many days being talked about
It took looking in the mirror telling my self that I was pretty to let all the insecurity out

But in the midst of it all I've build character and learned how to love me
And know that my body image is not a flaw but a beauty
