Who I Really Am

Sun, 04/05/2015 - 19:58 -- AhhChoo

"No I don't want you to change my picture."

Why would you need to change me?

Just because my eyes are uneven

Or because my cheeks are big?

Is it because my teeth are not white enough?

Are my thighs to big?

Why do you need to change me if I'm me?

I know I am pale and it's not natural for a Mexican to be pale.

I know I don't walk straight or have perfect hair.

I know my smile isn't that pretty.

But this is who I am when I look in the mirror.

I don't want to see picture frames

with a fake me.

I don't want to see myself as someone I'm not.

You just can't put a filter on me in a picture

Because I'm not ever going to put a filter on you.
