Pieces of me spread to clouds

where I hope I won’t fall to soil.

My person keeps me in arms, holding me in safe warmth.

Encourages me to be strong when on my turtle back,

keeps me afloat when reaching for the sun from depths unknown,

and sticks to me like a glue to the curves of time.
