Who Would Listen?

Location

To be heard is a dream

A want, a wish, a need.

To be heard is a thought

That leads to loss and confusion amongst.

Who would listen to a naive girl

One who acts so tough, who knows nothing of the world?

Who would listen to a childlike figure

One who holds her head high, who tries to seem bigger?

These are the questions I ask myself.

These are the questions that I say out loud,

But nobody cares to listen.

These are the questions I need answers to.

These are the questions that I ask you,

But nobody cares to listen.

Who would listen to a young girl's chatter

One who knows too much, who talks so rushed?

Who would listen to a simple minded kid

One who pretends to be complex, who tries to hard to fit in?

To be heard is a chore

A burden on society.

Now I must remain silent

until the world decides to find me.
