Why?

Location

Why do I write?
Not for the ominous glow of the moon that emanates inspiration
Not for the cool summer breeze that brushes my cheek
Not for the various shades of fall leaves that dance in the wind
No, not for the annoying aounds of the busy city
Nor for the laughter of the flowers in the spring
Or the story telling oceans
Not for the burning sand
I write for the beaches thay brighten a day
I write for the sunset that kisses the grass every night
I write for the trees that tower hills
I write for the stars that inspire the moon
And for the sun that winks at its admirers
For the nature that no one understands
