Why Did You Have to Go?

Location

I know you're never supposed to question Him, the Man up in the sky,

but i can't help but wonder why He gave you wings to fly?

My love, my backbone, but now my angel.

I know you're watching over me, keeping me out of danger.

When I think of all the memories you left behind, I cry and I laugh

It's hard trying to cope with you being just a person in my past.

How am I supposed to go on without you, how am i supposed to move on?

knowing that I'll never see you again..and that you're really gone?

Why did you have to leave us and break our hearts in pieces?

I know you're not supposed to question Him because He always has His reasons.

People do not understand that pain that i have, or this feeling of being empty,

just to know that you're not here..just to know that you're not with me!

I could write a book about you, but I have to end it here,

because the reality that you're gone still brings me to tears..

In loving Memory of my amazing aunt Toni!
