Why do We Look

Tue, 06/25/2019 - 19:14 -- CayleeJ

Everybody looks at each other differently,

No sign of remorse or hate in their face.

But they look upon and judge unjustly!

When will they look with love and grace,

Will they ever see what lies beneath?

Am I nothing more than another body?

When will they look into the great deep,

When will they look and see me as steady?

We are all a little different, we are all freaks,

And yet we seem to forget about this truth

That we are broken piece of a vase that needs a tweak.

Yet all of us are guilty of being the judge in our youth!

Why do we look upon each other's faces?

And choose to forget that we have been in their places.
