The feeling you get when you express yourself, is unlike anything else. Writing can make people happy, sad, thoughtful, or empowered. I would stand up to anyone that says writers are cowards. I love writing to make people think, another perspective on life sometimes is what people need. As a musician, songwriter, and engineer I understand the importance of words. You can silence a whole crowd with just one verb. Some of our greatest speeches in history could be poems in their own way. Think about "I Have A Dream" or even as simple as the writings from Marvin Gay. Words can bring a whole nation together, make you smile threw the dark stormy weather. Without words we would be broke, because writing is the glue that gives our nation hope.
