Why recycle?
Because it is a simple chore to do,
To do by putting paper and plastic into bins,
Bins whose markings show,
Show the arrowed triangle of refuge,
Refuge that will reduce waste,
Waste that would wreak the environment,
The environment we live in.
In the sands of time,
Time is imminently waiting,
Waiting for a wrong move,
A wrong move that will set,
Set the world on fire,
Fire that can never be destroyed,
Destroyed the trees,
Trees who have nurtured our lives,
Lives who take their comfort for granted,
Granted that the Earth is a temporary façade.
