Wind Don't Blow My Way

The winds blow as well as they create waves
I stand walking on water
The sea creeps from behind then I feel it crashing against my ankles
They blow even harder as they walk across the earth
I try to move but it’s not possible
I stand strong trying to prove my toughness
Everyone’s watching me but I stand anyhow
The wind has a voice, a sad and sweet voice
I've heard it sing so long and beautiful
Like wind should be, as God created it
Footprints of the wind left behind
Tragedy strikes me again
