Wings

Solid with form you fly without sound or flaw, Your courage carries as I am snugg beneath your wings.  You tugg me with your beak and push me through

weariness and dark waters.  Without you my soul will expire, my body only flesh.

Put me beneath your wings I will not go there alone I should but I don't.  what I see in you is nothing I see in me.  south bound I am headed before you

scooping me up to salvage what lit soul I have left put me beneath your wings.

Half blackness inside this heart of mine, give me strength to go.  Help me correct my broken shell.  I want to lie beneath your wings.
