Wishful thinking

What do you see, when you look at me?

What do you hear, are you even listening to me?

Every day I wake up is a challenge.

People everywhere, every day, every minute, every second.

Not many notice.

How clean the air is, the scent of the ocean,

the breeze coming through the trees,

how beautiful this world truly is.

So many look past whats been put right in front of them.

Not many see the gorgeous world before us.

The gift of life, another breathe,

eyes to see out of, ears to hear out of,

legs to walk, arms to reach.

So many, so selfish,

to many regrets and not enough joy.

Their vision is to narrow, closed minded,

to see the beauty of life.

If only everyone could see this wonderful world,

have peace and happiness.

Joys of life, being able to live another day.

To live as one race, to see equality amongst eachother.

No hatred, no regrets.

To be at peace with one another and the world.
