Words and Memories

Location

Killing me softly with your words of hurt,

The games you play,

The moves you DON'T make,

Why do you try to break me?

Then you make me.

Then you break me!

Then you make me with your sweet words of never-tolds,

Sprinkled in glitter but far from gold.

You know it's my heart you hold.

A thief in the night, my heart you stole.

Tell me your secrets! My heart was cold.

Frozen shut to the ways of the world,

And the men of the the ways that befriend then betray

I don't know how to make you stay.

But at the same time I wish you would go.

Leave me to my memories and the mysteries.

I'll always wonder if you thought I was just some hoe.

Like, you tell me otherwise, but why should I believe?

'Cause the games you play, they really mislead

*~Can't tell you nothing you ain't already heard

No matter what I say it's nothing but~

Words that you've probably told to someone else

And you don't know what they mean yourself.

So how can I believe the mystery with our history?

You continue to mislead and displease,

Soon you'll only be a memory.
