Words Mean Everything and Nothing

Words are that of a rain drop

Words have flooded your lanes, stop

See you drive through them thinking if you just keep driving, you can drive through it

but you wont do it, words are to fluent

You swear you are in the right lane untill rain comes and makes you revise

and edit his mindset making his mind sweat telling him he will never make it no matter how hard he tries

he lies.. to himself thinking that he can hear the lies hes telling

internal swelling begins, blood racing mnd yelling

See you drive in a car, how far, is up to you but we are speaking metaphors

if rain are words then a car would be? Remember we are speaking metaphors

Mom said dont look who is talkin listen to whats being said... So I try

Cause we must always remember even when its raining the sun is still in the sky

See words can blur your vision setting you up for an unexpected collision

or they can fall on you, and let you steer through obstacles with perfect percision

Words have so much power, yet hold such little meaning

Which way are you leaning?
