The World´s Expectations

Today I stand tall, like a statue

Everyone with their eyes gazing towards me

Picking out my differences

Discussing how I don´t fit in

Expectations is the problem

Why people don't accept others for who they are

The reason to why people change their personalities

To be accepted for the person they're not

I was heading towards that wrong path

It tried lurking me into the trap

Blindly, I was going to follow

Getting closer into the shallow

But I turned my route on time

To not change into another person

I did not want to worsen

For everyone is different

I will no longer apparent

We should all begin to accept it

It's something that's not admitted

The reality is that expectations take over our character

It's not a positive action to take

By experience I learned the right actions to make

Now I stand tall with pride

Like a statue I observe and feel the vibes

For I am glad for the person I've become

I understand who I should keep from

The people in this world

who apparent someone they´re not

Proudly, I´m my own character

Standing tall with no doubt
