In a world of darkness

In a world of darkness I can’t pull back the curtain,

The truth is for certain but offence is a burden--- to some

So I hold onto the curtain.

If you saw in light the sight that is behind the curtain,

Because darkness has filled your eyes I cannot be certain,

That judgment won’t be fiery and I be thrown in the furnace.

Judgment me not with your words for the sake of my soul--- the

One shattered and scared with myriad of holes.

So I hide in the darkness of the curtain that I see not the image of

Words, the labels they have placed upon my soul. Often its

Better to not know the ills that can come from man, and so I stand---

Behind the curtain.
