The World Inside My Head

Location

Day by day

The realities of life gets hard

Too much pressure

To be the best of who you are.

Endless thoughts scatter my mind,

As I lay here, contemplating about my life.

Closing my eyes, I enter my realm of happiness.

The worries are gone

My fears have disappeared.

If only this world was my reality.

I immerse myself into a world of dreams,

Escaping my doubts and living free

With no strings attached,

With no one screaming at me.

I wander in my dreamworld,

Happy to see

All the dreams

That will hopefully be my reality.

Suddenly, I wake up,

Back in the real world.

The future never seemed so bright.

The hope I thought I lost came back in sight.

All because of the world inside my head.
