The World You Don't Know

Detication, admiration;  words we all must know.

Segregation, alienation;  words we must let go.

For the world you see

is the reflection from the puddles forming at your feet

for the tears of our ancestors forming as they weep.

And through blearly eyes you see

though your heads above the clouds

that the world you see today was started with a sound

Dreams and passion

pushed through the earths dissatisfaction,

and upon the podium he splayed

the words that never change with age.

Dreams and equality

werent meant to be

a continental lobotomy ,

though the ideas in your head

may relate to the dead.

Now with your feet

on the street

and your eyes to the sky,

just look ahead

because our reality is nigh.
