One click, two, a pause and a smile

I can only imagine the dream like state of your eyes on the screen

And as you proceeded on, you knew all the while

What would come of a simple message, a day to convene.

When my view fell upon you, my heart began to race

Jokes off the bat, the laughter hit your eyes

A childrens day together, one we cannot erase

Not many days later, what spurred what not a surprise.

One month, two, three, four...more.

Sharing thoughts over shared food in a shared bed

Faster and faster the time goes, and the more I adore

You. Eight months in and today I turned to you and said,

"No matter what anyone says, I will never be ashamed

of meeting my soulmate on the internet, it will never be disclaimed."
