Ye Olde Journey (A Tribute Parody)

“Cease Not Believing”

Just a parish lass, livin’ lonely in this world

She flew away by a midnight ride to anywhere.

Just a township lad, born and grown in South Dover

He flew away by a midnight ride to anywhere.

A minstrel in a smoky room

A waft of draft and penny posies

For naught but a smile they share the moon

Ever on and on and on and on

(Chorus)

Strangers tarrying, to and fro the winding wend

Their shadows searching by the moon

Starlight spirits, livin’ for to seek emotion

Hiding, somewhere in this world

Toiling away to get my fill

Everyman wants a thrill

Paying fulsome to cast the lots

Perchance again

Some wilt win, some wilt lose

Some art destined to misfortune

Oh time’s story never ends

Ever on and on and on and on

(Chorus)

(D.S. al Coda x3)

Cease not believing’

Hold unto the feelin’

Starlight spirits
