A Year

A year can change you.

Remember but forget the past.

Make way for new experience.

Listen to opinions but form your own.

Moderate your thoughts,

but everything in moderation.

The election (and aftermath) happened.

That's enough about that.

I have started to fly

and study harder than I've been.

My future awaits.

Life changes in an instant

Seeing a person die

and forg-

Pick it up later

as a different person

with less connections.

More people come to funerals than I thought.

We are victorious,

riding high and victorious.

Victories can be sour and sweet.

Friends can be family and funerals for family suck.

I have recieved the role I wanted.

(Not exactly but close enough to stay.)

Nothing is permanant.

The vetrans are so proud. I cried throught the song.

College is coming. Soon.

I'm in and accepted but

new cahllenges await.

But I can't.
