The Year We Conquered the Beast

Location

It is now senior year

A time filled with Cheer

However we still need to be working

So do not waste your time twerking

As I stay awake,

Postponing my slumber

With a considerable headache

But I just can’t help but wonder

School? Stress?

What’s the Point?

However, I must confess.

I need to smoke a joint.

The Reason The Reason

Oh what could it be?

Hard Work Hard Work

Like the barks of a tree

We learn we grow

We fight through the snow

Trying to get to college

And not be a.......... hoe.

We learn together, we work together

Because teamwork shall prevail

All just to earn that acceptance letter

To either Harvard or Yale.

Take away the sleep

take away  the friends

This battle shall be steep

But we shall fight ‘til the end.

So let’s band together

From the west and from the east

And we shall remember forever

The year we conquered the beast.
