You

Last night I was looking up at the sky,
and Got lost in my own mind,
While remembering all the time,
We spent together.
I made a promise to myself,
That if I ever felt,
Like couldn't make it,
I would still never turn back to you.
Because you were never for me,
and I,
 will never be for you.

I remember the days we wasted away,
and the ones we made our own,
Yeah they were sweat,
and never have I known,
Any other days that made me happier.
Your smell still lingers on my skin,
the smell of forest and melon,
And your touch has become familiar.
Yeah, it's like a sin.

To tell the truth I do miss you,
but I wont let loneliness brew,
Inside my heart, till I forget how to love.
I try and forget the little things,
But the stupid world laughs and brings,
Back the beauty that reminds me of you.

When I see the sunset I think of you,
because I remember that day when we grew,
closer and I said If you were a color,
You'd be many.
This spring's killing me,
because you said you loved the trees,
The flowers, sky, rain, and freedom.
And you compared me to Nature saying,
"Your beauty is like Nature changing
the seasons, yeah, pure and natural."
Yeah, this world is cruel and mean
because when I say "That's enough from me"
It continues to bring you back you see.
I just want to forget you.

When I see the sky I think of you,
when I hear the rain I think of you,
When I feel the wind I think of you,
When I taste the water I think of you,
When I smell the flowers,
I think,
of you.
Yes you're everywhere,
and I will never,
Forget you.
