You and Me

Location

As I stare at the deep blue sea

I think of you and me

I hear the wind whispering in my ear

The love story that is near

My Aztec warrior we meet again

Right on this earth were we first met

You may call me your Cihuatzin

That gives me a sense to live

Because I know that you believe

That we were meant to be

My fears had scared my soul

And I slept so long without any hope

But today, you woke me up to see your face

And things have changed

As for today new things emerge

I’m ready to dream

To wake up and scream the freedom I live

I’m ready to fight for a positive change

To inspire the youth who have lost their way

Together we fight the oppression and hate

And we restore the dreams that once were there

We are not alone

The hummingbirds will sing for us

The love and pain from the skies above

The clouds are crying

The feathers are falling

The end is near

There is nothing to fear

Because our souls are together my dear
