You are in Control

Family is supposed to understand your pain

Family is supposed to be there to keep you sane

So what happens when a family falsely cares?

You keep smiling and take all that you can bare

The heart is there to guide the mind

So guard your heart with all you’ve got

If your heart becomes cold and dark

Then your life’s path will have a sinister plot

You look around to tell your family what you feel

But they look at you like you’re crazy with a stare unreal

You clutch your heart to stop the immense amount of hurt

Often times you wish that you were buried in dirt

Thinking of an end is a way to get out

But you’re amazing and that isn’t what living is about

No matter what anyone has to say, you are in control

You can do so much with your beautiful, caring, and righteous soul
