YOU ASSUMED

Location

You assumed that it was always me me.

You assumed that it was my fault

You assumed that I was shellfish.

You assumed I had an attitude.

You assumed that I was sad.

You assumed that I was always mad.

You assumed that I hated you.

You assumed that I wasn't listening to you.

You assumed that I lost my mind.

You assumed that I was ungrateful.

You assumed that I was frustrated

You assumed if I was gay

You assumed that I gave up.

You assumed that I took it away.

You assumed that I push you away.

You assumed that I forgave you.

You assumed that I was always happy.

You assumed I was smart.

You assumed that I was ghetto.

You assumed that I was messy.

You assumed that you wouldn't like me.

You assumed that we broke up.

You assumed that I didn't care.

You assumed if that was my real hair

You assumed that I didn't like you .

You assumed that I wanted to fight you.

You assumed that I wasn't fair.

You assumed and you assumed and you assumed.

But did you ever assume to ask me.

This poem explains how people just judge and think of all these things before even asking a person. This happens with parents, school anywhere on this world people assume but the real question is when is someone going to take the time to understand instead of assume.

I hope this poem open they eyes of the world and understand that people are so much more if you take the time to get to know them .

Please comment and tell me how you feel and please check out my other poetry and hopes it impacts your life .
