You kill me

It has been 5 months

since I slept,

even close to decently.

I cannot keep my mind

from racing.

There a race track in my head,

and your in the lead,

Blazing by every other person.

I can't even pay attention to the other racers.

You don't even care that your winning,

do you?

I don't even think

you know what you're racing for.

But you're in 1st place.

The prize?

It's my heart,

ripped from my chest,

plated with gold.

You've had the prize

this whole time.

The damn thing

practically has your name

on it.

I'm sitting here,

hoping that one day,

You'll love me like you use to,

and forgive me for my childish mistakes.

Because I love you

and I need you.

That doesn't mean much, though,

does it?

If you were blind,

I'd gauge out my eyes.

So you could see

If you wanted jewels,

I'd rob every store

and lose my hand,

like your average thief

I'd give you my breath,

if you couldn't breathe.

Which is ironic,

because you're suffocating me.

I can't breathe.

You're killing me

I guess its good,

that I'd give my life to you.

This is goodbye,

my love.
