Your deep blue eyes

What do I see
When I look into your deep, blue eyes
I see a deafening silence that hurts
An ache for a hug that gives comfort

I  see a smile that is suppressed
A sea of emotions that remain unexpressed
An ocean where tears permanently dwell
What they hide within it’s difficult to tell

I see many questions that remain unasked
Millions of emotions Oh! So well masked
They reflect the story of your tired and wornout soul
Many of them still unsung and yet untold

Many agitated words but long spells of silence
And all that’s left are moments of reminiscence
How well they manage to disguise
The agonizing pain in your deep blue eyes

Let a trail of your tears wash the sadness away
Don’t allow the lingering thoughts for long to stay
They reveal the truth amidst many lies
Eyes..... yes your deep blue eyes
