Yourself

There is nothing worse than fearing yourself.

Who you were, who you are, and who you will become.

Scared to take chances, or live life to the fullest.

There is nothing worse than fearing yourself.

Giving up on being okay, because it's easier that way.

Pushing your loved ones out, saying they don't care.

There is nothing worse than fearing yourself.

Errational decisions, leading to a sunken place.

Losing hope that'll you'll make it out one day.

There is nothing worse than fearing yourself.

But what about spiders, or crowded places?

Thunderstorms, deep waters, the dark?

Nothing compares to not knowing what you'll do next, but there are million other things to fear.

Yourself, should not be one.

You are not scary, you are not harmful, you are not bad.

There is nothing worse than thinking you are your biggest fear.

Next time you give yourself a fright, think, would a snake care about the world?

Would a snake cry when they think they've hurt someone?

Would a snake feel shame when they let something slip?

No.

There is nothing to fear about who you are.

You are a masterpiece, not a thunderstorm.
