The night loomed over the park. The cold nipped at us.

We held hands through the scattered blackness

and I wasn't even afraid of the dark.

Red Blue Orange Green White Purple bulbs everywhere,

in the shapes of elephants and gnomes.

We even smoked some extract

  when the path became empty.

Naughty.

Arm in arm, bundled in waterproof jackets,

our hot chocolates only spilled on the ground a little.

A cold penguin exhibit and a warm insect building

with passionate kisses in the middle.

You always light up the dark in me.
