Zzzz...

Location

The girl who slept in class

seemed to not care

the words that were being spoken

and the lines that were being taught

but did you ever see  that girl

outside of class?

            Driving down the restricted roads

            listening to the music

that boomed out of the metal doors

telling you more about her then

those shut eyelids and parted lips

The girl who slept in class had the world on her shoulders

            Your world too?

            Oh no, just hers

But her world was filled

with the exhaustion of lions

pain of hospitals

yet peace of a land filled with tombstones

and the thoughts no longer heard by mortal ears
