I fell in love with poetry when I was 11.
I was not in a good place. There were a lot of things I was doing to ruin my life.
I was lost..
My English teacher directed me towards it and for a while, before I got into heavy stuff, it helped.
I'm slowly getting back into it. Poetry saves lives.
I'm 16 now. I want to grow and share my work to whoever will read it.
I'm obviously nowhere near a professional poet.
I don't expect people to read what I write- everything that I have to say has likely been said more eloquently and thoroughly by someone else.
I write for me.
To express my thoughts, feelings, opinions..
It's liberating.
Please share love, not hate. Too many people are damaged in this world to be damning.
