The circle of life the things I’ve seen
Births and deaths every shade between
Full moons at dawn,...
I hone the steel to a mirrors hue,
Sharpen the pick’s so I can spin on a dime,
Wind the laces around flesh and bone,
Then step onto the ice...
Raindrops feel like promises
at least they do to me
the thunder rumbles loud
but it grumbles soothingly
Sprinkles are like angel kisses...
I’m turning, I’m turning, 15 today
I wonder if 15 will make me queen of the May
I flop down on my pink bedspread and pull up the pink...
