too bad
we all knew
time goes by way too quickly
walking alongside those broken dreams
with leaves dropping like tears down your side
those...
i just want to fly
walking is boring
and running has become so difficult
i just want to fly
my legs have become so tired
my heart is...
he shoots me in the heart
and i begin to fall off the cliff
i’m scared
i fight it
but then i let go,
i let it happen
and enjoy the fresh...
it creeps in like a shadow
a foreign invader,
but it’s no alien
no, it’s been here before
all too familiar
but it attaches –
with a knife...
i’m barely holding on
and piece by piece i’ll fall
coming to the edge
looking down
i’m afraid that i might crawl
right back into your arms...
