I'm 20 and have always been a writer. I started poetry my sophomore year of high school. Some of these poems were assignments, but most are my feelings and fears in writing.

I do not truly hate the sun
I wish for its arrival
when my bones beg for warmth,
but I don't know what to say
because the sun shines too...
What is the rain but tears from the sky?
Explained by science as a simple cycle of the earth's life
But is it so simple
