Verdant and teeming with life
Looming ominous
In the smog filled sky
We looked on
In awe
As the cave swallowed us...
I have been taught to be ashamed
of who and what I truly am
Forced to decipher

What opiate into my veins
That Lethe-wards makes me sink
Has been drained, though I have had no alcoholic drink?
This nagging tug

This wretchedness
This abysmal catyclismic
Atrophy of my consiousness
I convulse
In utter disgust
Of all that I am
I fucking wish
That I could reach
Down into my esophagus
Past my trachea
Bypassing my ribcage
And tear
My blood drenched
Pulsating heart...
