Poems from maria-connors
I call the ocean my home
The body of blue, grey and green
capped in white
A constant in my years of adolescence.
Really, I know it no more...
She dreamed impossible dreams
and held the ocean in the palms of her hands,
her eyes like the moon,
Pulling the tides,
Moving sailboats...
