I am a junior in high school and really need this scholarship in order to attend a four year university which will help me become a social worker for families and children. I live with my grandmother who adopted me at the age of nine after being placed in a foster home for two years. I am very passionate about poetry and dance.This scholarship will help me become a first generation college graduate and aspire my dreams to help children that are in a similar position I once was.Please take me into consideration, thank you.
