in this silly rain
for the lonely me
inside this tomb
who cries out
without words
for the blazing flame
of another’s heart
to lie...
words breathing on the page,
taking center stage,
light as air -
yet see there,
how there is no change,
the world blind
to silent words....
A smile hiding seams
Of frustration, of anger, of annoyance.
Never to despair.
Never to give in.
Such is her power.
Watching this,
There is...
the sound of emptiness
as a period is ommitted,
the comma's slow pace -
the dash's quick burst.
the calmness of a line's end.
The boldness...
