im young and i dont really know what im doing, so these are drafts of what i would believe is poetry, but most would (probably) disagree

My mother bought new dinner plates.
I didn't think we needed new ones,
They were five dollars,

I was against using the new plates...
I found her sorrow in the
purple and blue lightning bolts under her
eyelids.
I found her courage in the
hollow irises deep inside her
eyes...
I have lost weight since I was in fifth grade
and I know this because I have tracked my weight,
watching it go up and down,
like a child on...
Sticky kisses and blue butterflies,
Long nights and adoring skies.
Lingering kisses and yellow flowers,
Suspensful nights and everlasting...
Your pink, rosey lips
delicately fell onto the bones of my hips.
Your beaming, bright smile
can send my heartbeat and I traveling over a...
