Poems from vseidner

Hiiiiii! I'm Vanessa! I'm seventeen and a senior in high school. I love, love, LOVE to write and I like to explore different topics. Check out my most recent poem, Knuckles, which is about evolving and fighting a fear head on (for the-you guessed it-Fight the Fear Scholarship Slam). Also read Lukewarm Avidity, which is *gasp* NOT about me! Even though I included "I's"! It's just told through another girl's perspective. Hint hint: it's from a show I'm lucky to have come across, Standards, which I think is kind of funny, since it's about how all the media I've consumed has made my standards for men impossibly high. See if you can guess who I'm referring to! (There are four), Contentment, where I explore what it would be like to be in a long term relationship with someone, Domesticity, which is about my possible inner thoughts about settling down with someone when I graduate college, La Vida, which is in Spanish! (wow), I Would Like, where I took a risk and created a poem entirely of dialogue, Any Questions? Which is really deep and meaningful, man, and Thanks: An Open Letter to Everyone Who Has Wronged Me. It's for the O Captain, My Captain Contest. Who knew that bullies could teach you so much? Have a great day!
